RYO

Ryo (リョウ), born Hirose Ryo (廣瀬遼) on August 4, 2007, is a Japanese singer and dancer from Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. He is a member of NCT WISH, a six-member boy group under SM Entertainment and the final sub-unit of NCT.

A longtime fan of NCT, Ryo was discovered by an SM Entertainment casting director while attending an NCT 127 concert with his older sister. He subsequently joined the company as a trainee and underwent approximately one year of training before participating in the 2023 pre-debut reality competition NCT Universe: LASTART. He placed fifth in the final selection, securing his position in the group's debut lineup. Following pre-debut activities under the name NCT NEW TEAM, he officially debuted with NCT WISH on February 21, 2024, during SMTOWN LIVE 2024 SMCU PALACE @TOKYO at Tokyo Dome.

Known for his gentle vocal tone, bright personality, and expressive stage presence, Ryo brings a youthful and refreshing charm to NCT WISH's musical identity. His performances combine natural warmth with growing confidence, reflecting his development as both a vocalist and performer. Having gone from admiring NCT as a fan to becoming a member himself, Ryo continues to pursue his passion for music through the group's releases, concert tours, and international performances.
