Although the police successfully arrest some members of the gang involved, the ringleader, Liu Huaqiang, remains at large. Following Wu Tian's murder, Li Li—the head of a local real estate company—is gripped by panic; she attempts to flee the dangerous area with her younger sister, Li Mei, but Li Mei refuses to leave.
