CineBot is built to be useful without collecting personal data. This page explains what is processed when you use the site.

No account required

You can browse and chat without signing up. We do not ask for your name, email address or payment details.

Chat messages. Questions you send are processed to generate an answer. Conversation context is kept in server memory so follow-up questions work, and it is cleared when the service restarts. Do not share personal or sensitive information in the chat.
Session identifier. Your browser stores a random chat session ID in local storage so your conversation continues across page loads. It contains no personal information.
Server logs. Like most websites, our server and network provider record technical data such as IP address, browser type and requested pages to keep the service secure and reliable.

Movie data provider. Titles, images and credits are loaded from our movie and TV data provider and its image servers.
YouTube plays trailers in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) only after you press play.
AI model provider. Chat questions are sent to the language model that powers CineBot in order to write the answer.
Google Fonts and Cloudflare deliver fonts and protect the website.

CineBot does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

You can start a new chat at any time, which uses a fresh session ID, or clear your browser's site data to remove it completely.
