Mark Alan Hoffman

Award-winning filmmaker from Oregon working across commercial directing, viral campaigns, and narrative cinema. He studied Film and Media Arts in Germany at the Hochschule Mainz and started editing documentaries for European channels ARTE and ZDF. In the US, collaborations with pioneering motion design companies Imaginary Forces and Motion Theory earned multiple industry awards for commercials, trailers, music videos, and title sequences. His guerrilla-style campaigns for Nike helped pave the way for viral advertising. He is a co-founder of HB Studios and director of the feature film A Simple Machine.
