In the 1970s, the family of a young teacher named Lebedev, who lived on the outskirts of a Buryat village, suffered a tragedy. Wolves were rampaging in the settlement. Their young sons, Kirill and Philip, somehow miraculously managed to escape the same fate as their parents. But one of the boys was bitten on the arm by an old wolf… The boys ended up in an orphanage. But only Kirill survived to our time. His brother Philip dies under mysterious circumstances, but no one has seen his body. And now, in our time, in a village near Moscow, the livestock of a local farmer is killed by a bloodthirsty monster.
