人物简介
沃威克·桑顿（1970年7月23日生于爱丽丝泉）是澳大利亚电影导演、编剧和摄影师。他的首部故事片《赛门和黛利拉》在2009年戛纳电影节上获得金摄影机奖，并在亚太电影奖上获得最佳影片奖。2017年，他凭借《甜蜜国度》再次获得亚太电影奖最佳影片奖。
桑顿是凯特蒂族人，在爱丽丝泉出生长大。他的母亲弗雷达·格林共同创立了澳大利亚中部原住民媒体协会（CAAMA）并担任首任主任，还曾担任因帕亚电视台的前十年主任。13岁时，桑顿被送到澳大利亚唯一的修道院小镇——西澳大利亚州的新诺尔恰上学，尽管他后来表示对基督教感到愤怒，并不认为自己有宗教信仰。他毕业于澳大利亚电影电视广播学校的摄影专业。
