约翰·福特（1894年2月1日—1973年8月31日）是美国电影导演。他因执导《关山飞渡》（1939）、《搜索者》（1956）、《双虎屠龙》（1962）等西部片，以及改编自20世纪美国经典小说《愤怒的葡萄》（1940）等作品而闻名。他四次获得奥斯卡最佳导演奖（1935、1940、1941、1952），创下历史纪录，其中《青山翠谷》（1941）还荣获最佳影片奖。
在长达50多年的职业生涯中，福特执导了140多部电影（尽管他的默片作品几乎全部遗失），被公认为他那一代最重要、最具影响力的电影制作人之一。福特的电影和个人魅力深受同行推崇，英格玛·伯格曼和奥逊·威尔斯等人都称他为有史以来最伟大的导演之一。
