霍华德·霍克斯（Howard Winchester Hawks，1896年5月30日－1977年12月26日）是美国好莱坞黄金时代的著名导演、制片人和编剧。他以横跨多种类型片的创作闻名于世，代表作包括神经喜剧[《育婴奇谭》（1938）、《女友星期五》（1940）、《绅士爱美人》（1953）]、西部片[《红河》（1948）、《赤胆屠龙》（1959）、《龙虎盟》（1967）]、冒险片[《唯有天使生双翼》（1939）、《逃亡》（1944）]、黑色电影[《夜长梦多》（1946）]及黑帮片[《疤面人》（1932）]。其作品以塑造独立强势的"霍克斯式女性"角色及机智快节奏的对白著称。
