Along the way, she unexpectedly becomes bound to an alien-powered system. While trying to prevent her parents from meeting, she inadvertently uncovers a family conspiracy that has remained hidden for more than twenty years. Though she has no proof of her true identity, the unbreakable bond of blood ties draws her parents to her, and she soon becomes the cherished center of their world.
