Synopsis

Cristal is a Brazilian telenovela produced by SBT and originally broadcast from June 5 to October 27, 2006. It is an adaptation of the Venezuelan telenovela Cristal (1985), created by Delia Fiallo. The story follows Cristina, a young woman abandoned by her mother, Vitória, shortly after birth and raised in a convent. Years later, Cristina becomes a successful model known as Cristal and unknowingly crosses paths with her biological mother, now a powerful fashion businesswoman. While searching for her identity and a place in the world, Cristina falls in love with João Pedro, but their romance is threatened by family secrets, social differences, jealousy, and the painful revelations about her past.
