Biographie
Jonathan Heed is a rising Irish actor, writer, and director, born on October 10 in Dublin, Ireland. Drawn early to cinema, he grew up watching DVDs and films obsessively, developing a deep fascination with performance and visual storytelling. Growing up as an artist, he began writing and making films at a young age, initially studying animation before returning to pursue his first love-acting.
Dedicated to both stage and screen, Heed is known for his striking presence and grounded, character-driven performances. He trained at the Gaiety School of Acting and further developed his screen craft at the National Screen Acting School of Ireland, where he was mentored by world-renowned acting coach Gerry Grennell. His work includes writing, directing, and starring in the short film What You Will (2025), which was selected for the Dublin International Film Festival 2026, where it had its world premiere.
