The story of a young man who goes to the mountains to take revenge on a landlord. Karalar Mehmet lives with his mother and sister Melek. Like the other villagers, they work for Halim Ağa. Unable to control his anger, Halim Ağa's son Ali burns down Mehmet's house and tries to rape Melek. Melek commits suicide to escape Ali.
