زندگینامه
Jermaine La Juane Jackson (born December 11, 1954) is an American singer-songwriter, bassist, and a foundational member of the Jackson family. From 1964 to 1975, Jermaine served as the second lead vocalist of the Jackson 5 and played bass guitar. After a successful solo career at Motown, he rejoined the group—then known as The Jacksons—in 1983. Beyond his musical achievements, Jermaine is the patriarch of a large, creatively gifted family. His children have followed in the family’s footsteps, becoming actors, musicians, and filmmakers who continue to shape global entertainment.
Personal Life and Family
Jermaine was born at St. Mary's Mercy Hospital in Gary, Indiana, the fourth child of Joseph and Katherine Jackson. He is the brother of Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, La Toya, Marlon, Michael, Randy, and Janet. His children include:
Jermaine La Juane "Jay" Jackson Jr. (1977)
Autumn Joy Jackson (1978)
Jeremy Maldonado Jackson (1986)
Jaimy Jermaine Jackson (1987)
Jourdynn Michael Jackson (1989)
Donté Randall Jackson (1992)
Jaafar Jeremiah Jackson (1996)
Jermajesty Jermaine Jackson (2000)
Abu Bakr Khalifa (2022) Legacy
Throughout his career, Jermaine has balanced his solo success with his commitment to the Jackson family legacy. By mentoring the next generation of performers—including his son Jaafar—he has ensured that the family's influence on music and cinema remains a dominant force in the 21st century.
