Thomas Vámos is a Hungarian-Canadian cinematographer and director renowned for his contributions to Canadian cinema. He began his career in Hungary before emigrating to Canada, where he became a prominent figure in the film industry. Vámos is best known for his work on Being at Home with Claude (1992), a film that earned him a Genie Award nomination for Best Cinematography.
