السيرة الذاتية

Daniel Xexéo is a filmmaker, writer, director, actor, photographer, and producer of cinema and theater, originally from Campos dos Goytacazes, Brazil. His debut original short film, "A Febre" (The Fever), premiered at the 'Mostra Terrível! 3' festival, opening the 'Sessão Curtas Jovens Terríveis' at the Estação Claro Botafogo cinema in Rio de Janeiro in 2024.

In 2025, through the independent creative collective 'pálido azul' and the Paulo Gustavo Law, he produced "Causa" —a surrealist anthology mid-length film comprising three stories exploring themes of causality, effect, and consequence. The film has been screened at various venues and festivals, including Cinema Estação, the Federal Justice Cultural Center (CCJF), SESI Theater, and the Museum of Modern Art (MAM) in Rio de Janeiro.

He is currently conducting academic research into audiovisual media, guerrilla filmmaking, and low-budget cinema, while developing projects such as "A Queda" (The Fall) and "Fantasmas" (Ghosts) —both currently in production with premieres scheduled for 2027.
