[Omnibus Edition: A condensed edit of previously aired main-story material; no new narrative footage is included.] Based on Er Gen’s novel Renegade Immortal, the series follows Wang Lin, an ordinary boy from a remote village whose inner resolve drives him to challenge the very order of immortality. He seeks more than longevity—he yearns to transcend a frail, ant‑like fate. Trusting that perseverance is rewarded, Wang Lin enters the immortal cultivation path despite his mediocre talent. Weathering hardship and peril, he relies on clarity of mind and relentless will to climb toward the pinnacle and carve out his own name in the cultivation world.
